KiDZSPOT Lima is a niche centre for ages 3 -5 only.
The service caters for children who are moving centres, as well as those who are new to childcare. KiDZSPOT Lima delivers a carefully crafted School Readiness Program that has been developed in consultation with local schools. Getting ready for kindergarten is a very big part of any child’s life so it should be exciting. Children need to have a sense of security and healthy expectancy as they get ready to start ‘big school’. Our School Readiness Program helps our children master selected skills while ensuring they are also emotionally and socially ready for this great milestone. At KiDZSPOT Lima, school prep starts from day one.

Welcome to MiGHTY SPOTZ.
By now children will start to become readers, thinkers and negotiators.
It is the time to focus on key developmental skills - our MiGHTY SPOTZ start to develop basic numeracy and literacy as well as focus on important social and emotional skills.
Our PREP SPOTZ Program is an accelerated curriculum for pre-schoolers.
Our pre-school curriculum has been designed by university trained early childhood teachers and specialists in collaboration with local schools to create a program that excites, prepares and inspires our children for the great milestone of starting primary school.
We love it, we know our children do too.

A typical day at Lima
Early learning centres are very busy places with lots of energy and activity. There is a schedule of tasks that have to get done from open to close, all day every day! From preparing meals to preparing beds, from running educational activities to documenting progress, writing daily posts to organising play based on child-led learning, the Centre is a hub of action.
To ensure it all runs as smoothly as possible; we follow a daily routine - this is what we call our daily program. The program is prepared weekly but it isn't set in stone; activities are adjusted to meet the individual children's interests and needs as much as is possible. This is what we call child-led learning.
In addition to the daily activities that take place at Lima; the Centre also hosts a range of extracurricular events throughout the year. These include special events and incursions that form an important part of the learning and development process by exposing children to new experiences.
The first few weeks at Lima
When our Dilga children reach the age of 3, it's time to move up to the 'big centre', KiDZSPOT Lima. The two Centres at Erskine Park work very closely together on programs and services to ensure a strong continuum of learning as children develop from the baby and toddler stage to their pre-school years.
When the time comes for the transition, the Centre Manager will organise a time to meet with the parents to go over the transition process so everyone is well prepared. There will be an information session at the Lima centre to introduce families to the team, the centre and answer any questions families might have. The children will get an excursion to Lima where they will get to see their new 'big centre' and meet their new educators.
It's an exciting beginning for everyone - having 'moved up' from the baby and toddler centre, they're now a fully fledged pre-schooler! It's all new and familiar at the same time.

KiDZSPOT in Erskine Park is operated as one business in two niche centres.
For most of our children, their journey starts at our Dilga Centre, which is for babies and junior toddlers only. It is so easy for babies to get lost among the hustle and bustle of older children so, at KiDZSPOT, we created Dilga, a niche service specifically for our youngest and most dependent. Everything in the service, from the staff to furniture to toys & resources...everything is designed to work around the demands of our tiniest children.
Moving to Lima is almost like a practice run before the big move to school. The transition is easy and smooth; we take care of everything to ensure the children feel the excitement of ‘moving up’ to pre-school. We hold a parent information night and we organise an excursion to the Lima centre in time to give the children the opportunity to see their new KiDZSPOT.
When our Dilga children reach the age of 3, we transition them to KiDZSPOT Lima, where they start the School Readiness program. The two centres in Erskine Park work very closely together on programs and services to ensure a strong continuum of learning as children move from Dilga to Lima.
